Canvas has been wax lined however impasto remains intact in the mountain peaks. There is craquelure throughout the mountain range with a roughly 5 in. long crack in the sky above the mountains upper right. Under UV examination, there is a 10 in. long area of retouch upper right. Additional areas of retouch corresponding with pinkish-gray pigments in the sky upper left and upper right.
