Description
Meissen (German, established 1710). "Leda with Swan". Porcelain, c. 1850-1925. Model: 433. Designed by Johann Joachim Kaendler. Height: 7 1/8", Length: 7", Depth: 5 1/4". Meissen porcelain figurine depicting Leda and the Swan. Marked to the back with the crossed swords mark. Underside etched "433" within the porcelain.
Condition
Good condition; some restoration to Leda's elbow, the tree trunk, and her cape visible with a black light. Condition reports are available from Stefek's upon request.
