A group of eight wooden box with stickers marked Manufactured by Ceeco Chicago Distributed by Graybar Type GBU-501E. Graybar Electric was the successor company of the general electric supply business of Western Electric Company. The function of the boxes is unknown but assumed to be telegraph. Boxes measure 5 1/2" x 6 1/2" x 3 1/4" and have a button on the left side and connection holes on the back and at the bottom of the box. The boxes show heavy storage wear with discoloration, dust, water damage, cracked wood, a few show bore holes, added price stickers, and the stickers show mild to moderate wear.
