T. R. Williams Stereocard, Scenes in Our Village, No.30, text to reverse reads SCENES IN OUR VILLAGE, ‘OLD DANCY ENJOYING HIS PIPE. Let such as mock the weed, when labour's o'er, Go see old Dancy sitting at his door; And, as the fumes in graceful eddies rise, See the calm joy that glistens in his eyes. Then say, if for such quiet, calm enjoyment, They'd substitute a more refined employment. Condition: card good and clean, minor foxing/marks. Note: These 1850's views are of the village of Hinton Waldrist in Oxfordshire and are considered to be Williams's masterpiece. They were the subject of the book 'A Village Lost and Found', by Brian May & Elena Vidal, published 2009.
