T. R. Williams Stereocard, Scenes in Our Village, No.13, text to reverse reads 'SCENES IN OUR VILLAGE. THE COTTAGE. They call it a cottage, 'tis more like a mansion, It only requires a little expansion; A pediment, two or three pillars and turret, At a decent expense-if they choose to incur it.’, stamp for ‘The London Stereoscopic Company’ Condition: card creased corners chipped, slight foxing, images clear and strong . Note: These 1850's views are of the village of Hinton Waldrist in Oxfordshire and are considered to be Williams's masterpiece. They were the subject of the book 'A Village Lost and Found', by Brian May & Elena Vidal, published 2009.
