Provenance
The slant top lid opens to a fitted interior above two drawers and single door opening to shelves, the underside of lid retains calendars from 1858 and 1859, and partial newsprint publication of An Act to Punish Offences Against Slave Property Passed by the Legislative Assembly of the Territory of Kansas, August 14, 1855.
