18 K yellow Gold Geneve Universal wrist watch $10 Lady Liberty 1894 Gold coin Eagle back manual wind. This is a wonderful wrist watch with enclosed watch which replicates an 1894 Liberty $10 gold coin. The top, heads side of the coin, is hinged and when opened, it allows you to see the dial of the watch. The watch itself is also hinged to allow you to lift it and wind it. The back side of the watch replicates the tail side of the coin which is a spread winged eagle like that of the president's seal. This is marked on the back of the watch dial with the gold Hallmark of a Helvetia head, gold purity mark 18 K 0.750 and hammer head mark 122. The 122 stands for the case maker being Oreade, manufacture de boiter SA, LaChaux-de-fonds. The strap is Hallmark at the clasp, 55 above 18 K followed by 0.750. I could not find a serial number and suspect it maybe possibly on the backs of the clock works themselves but I do not know how to open the back of this watch case. From research I have done online I suspect this watch to be made anyway between 1960 to 1980 but this is only by seeing a few examples and I am not certain as to win the watch was made.I have a wide margin estimate due to pricing I have seen for similar ones on the internet. Please see condition report for any imperfections.Total length of this band is 7 1/2" long and the diameter of the watch face is 1 5/8".Total weight is 1.94 troy ounces.

I just happened to be the nice guy and went above and beyond to help a few locals with their estate items because they did not know where to go to move an entire estate of stuff. This sale is 98% easily shippable items with baseball cards, some toys, gold to sterling jewelry, sterling and silver plate flatware and other useful items, some nick knacks, primitive items and few tools. I am hoping that someone may have use for all these items which I have listed because it is a lot of work to put an auction together in this format. Plus, I believe I have listed most at great starting prices.

This watch is in working order and keeps accurate time however there are a couple things to note. The top cover latch is broken, so it will not stay closed. I had tried to pull the latch piece down and unfortunately the small piece broke off, but I DO have it, in which you can see on the small piece of paper in which I have pictured. I also believe this may have had a crystal over the dial hands at one time. Although I do not have the crystal, the original gold ring which would have held the crystal is present. The only other thing I can think to note, which is extremely minor, is that there are some fine scratches on the inside cover. Other than these things noted this comes with the average normal wear in which one would expect on a used watch.
