Impressionist depiction of tall birch trees standing tall over a small stream winding through dry grass and fallen leaves. King studied at the Art Students League of Buffalo and at the New York Art Students League with Henry S. Mowbray. While he was still a student, he illustrated for Life and Harper's magazines.
Oil on canvas,25" x 30".
Signed "Paul King" lower right corner.
