Folk art depiction of the Statue of Liberty with a Good Year blimp to upper right with the inscription "We Love Statue of Liberty There Are Still Some Good People Living In This World." Halozan immigrated to the United States in the 50's working as a nanny in Chicago before moving to New York to pursue singing. She gave up on this because although she gained popularity, it did not pay well. Halozan began painting as rehabilitation for a stroke she had in 1978, selling her paintings on a Manhattan street corner of Broadway and 55th Street.
Oil on board,Board 9 3/4" x 7 3/4".Frame 10" x 8"
