Tracé sur l'eau (Traced on the water), 1963, Edition 30 / 100, partial folio, thirteen watercolours by Joan Miro, reproduced as Aquatints on Marias Onion Skin paper by Atelier Maeght laid down on fine woven paper, each measuring 8 1/2 x 10 7/8 inches. The colophon hand signed by Miró in red pencil. Condition: six lithographs have a small tear on the right lower corner (where it is affixed to the rag paper). Joan Miró i Ferrà was a Spanish painter, sculptor and ceramist born in Barcelona. Throughout the 1960s, Miró was a featured artist in many salon shows assembled by the Maeght Foundation that also included works by Marc Chagall, Giacometti, Brach, Cesar, Ubac, and Tal-Coat.
