It's too bad that this concept was dropped, since the two covers establish (and subsequent covers would have strengthened) a strong identity for Panic.... This issue established the line-up of Elder, Wood, Orlando and Davis which continued until issue 9, when Elder took over the Orlando slot, doing two stories in each of the remaining issues.
