A collection of 3 smoking pipes made from wood, brass, stoneware, and jadeite! The Black Forest pipe has a cylinder bowl with the bark still attached, a cherrywood stem with bark, and a flexible cord neck with a polished wood mouthpiece. The smallest is a stoneware bowl, mold-made with a ribbed surface, and a simple reed stem, likely from the Ohio Akron company. The longest is an ornate Chinese piece, with a polished jadeite mouthpiece, a straight brass stem with faint vine motifs, and a wooden bowl with brass rims, perhaps for tobacco or opium. Size of brass pipe: 14.5" L x 4.5" W (36.8 cm x 11.4 cm)
