early 20th century carved walnut griffins with wings spread, mounted upon later custom giltwood rockwork stands, unsigned.
Each approximately 17 x 16 x 5 1/2 in.

Some old mounting holes to verso of griffins; chipping to ears; one griffin with crack and repair to right wing, front feet, right ear, and tail; the other with repair near front left paw and left ear.
