A Seed of Thistle From...An autograph letter dated June 19, 1855, illustrated with a drawing of a donkey beside a thistle, in brown ink and wash on blue paper, mounted on the back of an engraved portrait of Sir Edwin Landseer. The letter 7 1/4 x 4 1/2 inches (8.4 x 11.4 cm); Together with MOTHERS; WAIT TILL HE RISES; THE INTRUDER, six etchings on chine collé and two engravings, 1855, 1847(6), 1888 and 1891, the etchings from Mothers, framed.
