This view of the Piazza Navona looking north toward Gian Lorenzo Bernini's Four Rivers Fountain, 1651, in the center, and the façade of the Church of Saint Agnese, designed by Francesco Barromini, 1652, at the left, is among the most popular of Piranesi's (1720-1778) views of Rome. Hind 108.
