Description
An SS NCO's sword with SS officer's portepee and leather hanger, maker Krebs, SolingenSingle-edged blade with a double-edged point and fullers on both sides, maker's mark on the ricasso. Stop washer. Nickeled knuckle-bow hilt with blackened grip and wire winding. Black painted steel scabbard (a few stains) with iron fittings, the locket with "SS" stamp within an octagon. Black leather hanger with nickel-plated fittings, the clip stamped "RZM m 5/8" with Assmann logo and "DRGM". Nicely preserved SS officer's portepee. Length 100 cm.Condition: II
