Description
Vintage 1940's-1950's sterling silver charm bracelet, heavy multi-link spiral bracelet, 7", 45.35 grams - Mexico/Aztec. This is a heavy 8mm wide spiral chunky link bracelet. It has eight Aztec/Mexican charms that are true vintage The main center charm is a gaucho hat much like a cowboy hat, a pistol charm, an old style Aztec totem type charm, a basket-like charm, a torch or a scepter, Aztec calendar which is signed hecho en mexico MIN?, and a parrot. There are a few rings where it is obvious a charm was removed. This has triangular open loop rings on each end but the clasp is missing.
These are very unusual and many "old school" charms that date the piece from the late 1930's through the 1950's, maybe one or two after. They have been tested as has the bracelet. This is a heavy and chunky bracelet. This came from a PA estate sale. The charms are in very good condition - just tarnish/patina and the only flaw is the missing clasp. I can put a lobster clasp on it but it would be better to find a vintage clasp. See photos. Visit my other auctions and my Ebay store, Maria's. (Locator Number W2.417C.2X8)
