About the artist: Famous statesman and politician of Ukraine Volodymyr Vinnychenko entered the history of national culture as one of the talented Ukrainian writers whose works: stories, stories, novels, were translated into different languages of the world, and performances with great success went on the stages of European theaters.
Throughout his life, Volodymyr Vynnychenko tried to combine literature and politics, which apparently caused him to stay far beyond his native Ukraine.
During the emigration period, Vladimir Kyrylovych discovered another of his talents - the artist's talent, surprising with all his achievements.
Portraits, landscapes, still lifes of the master capture the rich color scheme, filled with light and air. In his paintings there are practically no somber shades, which are sometimes found on the pages of his literary works.
During the life of the author his works were exhibited at exhibitions in Lviv, Paris, where they received positive feedback from artists and art critics.
Volodymyr Vynnychenko - an artist - his artistic achievements are presented: about one and a half hundred works of oil painting and graphics, as well as paintings donated by the Vinnychenko family to foreign Ukrainian artists and foreign artists - passed this invaluable heritage of the master of words and brush to Ukraine in 2000. -2002 years, according to the will of his wife Rosalia Vinnichenko, Ukrainian Free Academy of Sciences in the USA.
