Condition
The canvas is strip lined. Artist's pinholes to all four corners. Examination under Ultra-Violet light reveals small spots of retouching to the figure's arms, neck, right ankle and to the outer edges.
There is frame rubbing to all four outer edges. One or two tiny discreet pinprick paint losses in places. There are some scattered lines of craquelure, mainly visible to the figure's arms and shoulders. Some mild surface dirt in places, with a faint line of tiny spots of old adhesive to the figure's chest and shoulders.
In our opinion, the work is in overall very good condition.
