Rectangular in form, it boasts a two-part center glass mirror with a classic stepped bottom and top A foliate leaf designs along the top and adorn each side, while griffins and harps embellish the bottom, accompanied by carved female faces and floral vases at each corner. Provenance: This item originated from a distinguished auction event hosted by Sotheby's in October 1995, designated as LOT 3663 at the Neues Schloss (New Castle), Baden-Baden, Germany. It was a part of the royal collection belonging to Margrave Max von Baden (1933-2022), a prominent figure in European aristocracy and the first cousin of Prince Charles III. This auction showcased a selection of valuable items from his esteemed collection.

Condition: Good to fair overall antique condition, this piece exhibits average age-related surface wear and patina.
