The face of this vintage watch is rectangular, with the gold Arabic numerals and the sword shaped hands. The lugs are hooded with a solid gold bar. The dial is equipped with a small seconds sub-dial at nine o’clock position.
From the watch design perspective, it’s a rare, sought after watch complications element. The initial reason of this placement was to fit a pocket watch movement into a wristwatch. The crown was moved from twelve to three o’clock while the seconds sub-dial landed at nine or six or three o'clock.
