A striking VCA bracelet from the Chapeau Chinois collection, made of 18k gold.
The Chapeau Chinois collection was first presented to the public in 1931. The brand created it for the Paris Exposition Coloniale Internationale, a fair that was dedicated to the world’s art and culture.
Van Cleef & Arpels’ designers were inspired by a traditional Chinese hat which they embodied in high- polished gold. This particular bracelet belongs to a re-launched collection in 2000. Shiny, bright lined up “hats” look absolutely stunning on a wrist. The pointy tops create a great play of light. This VCA bracelet is as unusual as it is elegant and chic.
The bracelet measures 7" x 1 ¼” (18 x 3 cm) and weighs 46.7 grams.
The bracelet is stamped with VCA maker's mark, French hallmarks for 18k gold and a serial number
