These fine Grand Tour bronze full bodied lions perched on bronze bases and ready to attack! This set of four outdoor statues have lived poolside spewing water from their mouths at a Greenwich Connecticut mansion for decades on their rectangular pedestals bases. The faces and mane on these lions have been executed with incredible detail; the bodies are as well cast as anyone could wish for. Truly lifelike these grand tour bronzes have an incredible patina - a high copper content as evidenced by the blue green oxidization which have occurred due to decades of precipitation.
