Description
Dating to the early 20's, believed to be one of the first prototypes which lead to the Luny Frog's production. Featuring a Basser style mouth on a graceful wood body with exceptional painted detail. Measuring 4 3/8" in length, blemish free glass eyes, undrilled for hooks and unrigged (line tie hole, but never had a screw eye), complete with two-tone frog spots and striped legs. In Ex-/Ex condition with only light wear/soiling and age lines. Purchased from the highly respected Heddon collector Walt Blue. One of only a scant few wood Lunys, all originating from the Heddon factory archives, each unique in some way and a truly important piece from Heddon's history.
