Six unfished salmon flies tied by Elsie Darbee (1912-1980). The Darbees are legendary among those that collect quality American flies or those that have fished the streams of the Catskill region of New York state during the last half century. Tied in her Livingston Manor shop in the 1970's for the late collector Bill Peck, all are in excellent condition, the colors still bright, the longest hook measuring 1 1/8". Each fly is accompanied by Darbee's handwritten pattern: Rusty Rat, Silver Rat, Hairy Mary, Ross Special, Casseboom and Stone Fly.
