An exceptional presentation of pristine flies tied by Walt (1908-1994), Winnie (1910-1998) and Mary Dette, accompanied by a large family portrait with all three tyer's original signatures underneath. Measuring 23" x 17", the 27 flies were professionally mounted and framed by Donmar Studios (Don Leyden). With the large "The Dette Collection" still affixed on the reverse, all the nymph, dry and wet fly patterns listed, along with Donmar Studio's label. Large groupings of Dette flies such as this one are rarely offered for sale. Originally owned by the late Dave Brandt, a Wulff School of Fly Fishing instructor and Catskill Fly Fishing Museum's "Legends" hall of fame inductee.
