An early 19th century carved and inlaid mahogany Dutch contra-barometer signed F. Bazerga, Rotterdam the architectural cresting with central carved urn over a pair of verre églomisé gilt-decorated glass panels, the tubes and scales protected by a glazed door over a matching base with dependent finials, the twin scales with engraved swag decoration and various predictions, 24cm wide x 9cm deep x 133cm high Footnotes: Literature Bert Bolle, Barometers in Beeld, 1983, fig. 265.
