About: Handwoven and dyed by women of the Berber tribes of Morocco this extraordinary Boucherouite (meaning 'scrap' or 'rag' in Arabic) rug is absolutely stunning! The treasured skills of weaving and dying have been passed from mother to daughter within the Berber tribes for thousands of years. Dyed from extract of native flora of the Atlas Mountains and made by knotting scraps of wool and cotton onto the warp threads of a loom the process is incredibly intricate and time-consuming and takes years to master. The shapes and colors of this particular rug are truly fascinating even mesmerizing making it a unique work of art literally unlike any other. Make it yours today before it's gone forever.

Condition Details: This fascinating Moroccan rug is in 100% original vintage condition and aged to perfection! The colors hand dyed by Berber women are still vibrant and radiant are absolutely stunning in natural light. This rug is structurally sound and ready for decades more of use.
