Vintage Early 20th Century Czechoslovokian Vanity Boxes

These vintage early 20th century porcelain "novelty" vanity boxes were made in Czechoslovakia by BASCO. The unique pair is designed in cobalt blue with gold stenciled accents. The round lid covers are hand painted with portraits of George & Martha Washington. Patinated brass work embellish the hinged lid covers. The underside of each lid cover features a distressed old mirror adding a charming antique feel to the overall appearance. The boxes are supported by decorative scrolled feet. Each box is marked BASCO made in Czechoslovakia making them a fine Czechoslovakian collectable that celebrates American notables. A great find !!!2" tall X 3 1/8" wide X 3v 3/8" deep
