This stunning vintage Continental trinket box is in beautiful hand carved bone with detailed floral accents decorating the outside of the round 19th century antique box. The top of the trinket box features an exceptional detailed gouache painting of an attractive young woman dressed in royal costume with an appropriate starched lace neck collar & bedazzled in jewels. This painting is signed under the glass by the artist Verdice. The painting is intact & in excellent condition with sharp details & vivid colors. The overall condition of the trinket box is very good considering its age. There is an 1/8" loss of beaded trim along the outer edge of the box top. Additionally the round base panel is slightly loose nothing more. I feel a superb find for the right collector.1 1/2" tall X 3" diameter
