Niels Otto Mller was a Danish furniture designer renowned for his modern and functional designs. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and went on to work for various furniture manufacturers including J.L. Mollers Mobelfabrik where he designed some of the most iconic and archetypal Danish Modern furniture pieces.
J.L. Mollers Mobelfabrik was a Danish furniture manufacturer founded in 1944 by Jorgen Langkilde Moller. The company was known for producing high-quality furniture in the Danish Modern style using materials such as teak and oak. The company was in operation until the late 1970s.

Condition Details: This exquisite Model 80 side chair by Niels Otto Mller for J.L. Mller Mobelfabrik has recently undergone a partial restoration featuring new upholstery. The solid Brazilian rosewood frames and legs are in original vintage condition and show only minor nicks and surface scratches (the worst of which can be seen in the detail photos provided). With that said the rosewood shows no gouges stains or other damage whatsoever and the rich variegated woodgrains are absolutely mesmerizing in natural light. The upholstery redone in a silky forest green velvet is in showroom condition.
This iconic chair is ultra-comfortable structurally sound and ready for decades more of use.
