筆筒運用素有“千年矮黃楊”之稱的木料雕刻而成，此木很難成材，有“歲長一寸，遇閏而縮”特點，所以足顯其珍貴程度，雕刻題材爲劉海戲金蟾，刀法精湛，人物栩栩如生，寓意財源興旺,幸福美好。
