Large 19th century Russian Orthodox enamel on copper finift icon. Has one large center plaque showing the resurrection of Jesus. There are twelve smaller plaques depicting the twelve major feasts. The enamel plaques are convex and finely handpainted in vibrant colour. Each one is framed and they all are surrounded by detailed metal scrollwork and filigree. The icon is also decorated with 20 glass cabochons and has velvet backing with a hanging hook. Metal does not test silver.

Great condition. Enamel in great condition. No chips. Frame is slightly bent on two corners. Minor separation on upper right corner (see photos). Normal wear due to age.
