ABOUT THE ART

Billie Eilish has teamed up with livestream shopping app NTWRK to release a limited edition series of three original art prints inspired by her new documentary Billie Eilish: The Worlds A Little Blurry, released on 2/26 via Apple TV+.

The exclusive drop features prints designed by three artists who were hand-selected by Eilish: NYC-based multi-disciplinary artist and owner of Koreas Worship Gallery Noelle Lee, NYC-based multi-disciplinary artist Nathalie Nguyen, and NYC/London-based painter and digital artist Emma Stern. Each artist was shown portions of Billie Eilish: The Worlds A Little Blurry and interpreted the documentary through their distinct art styles.

Lee says of her colored pencil work:

For this piece I was really inspired by the color palette and ethereal scenes in both Ilomilo and ILY. This illustration features Billie on her bed, drawing to the idea of a place of comfort and safety. To contrast this idea of comfort, I chose to encapsulate the scene in a snow globe. The globe represents the thought that although Billie may be in a state of comfort in herself and her work, she is still being viewed and interacted with by the outside world. In all, the purpose of the piece is to represent the fragile and blurry parts of Billies world and artistic life which is on view for all.
