the second is a study on the Roman toga.

Illustrated with headgear and gowns. Some plates are foldout.
Allegorical frontispiece engraved by R. de Hooge
Good condition. The binding is intact, vellum is soiling
Two plates are missing (page 181 and the frontispiece of De Toga Romana.)
