Description
"Map of Catholic missions of China, by French Jesuit, R.P.J.-B. Prud'homme, showing division of China into mission districts allocated to the various Catholic orders, including the Augustinians, Dominicans, Franciscans and Jesuits. Orders of nuns are not included. An inset map, 'Campo do Apostolado Missionario' (Field of Apostolic Mission), shows the whole of China divided into mission areas. Two tables show Catholic population growth and number of Chinese priests from 1900 to 1935. Main Catholic centres of China, with the date of their establishment, are also given."
