Description

Unusual fire screen featuring a beveled mirror glass panel, reverse-painted and decorated with gold foil and mother-of-pearl applique, in a solid brass frame. Late 19th Century. Dimensions: H 27" x W 17" x D 7". Condition: Some areas of de-silvering to mirror and loss to painted decoration. Handle slightly bent. Patina and light wear consistent with age and use.
