西周 或以後 青銅饕餮紋尊
The bulbous body rising to a wide trumpet neck, cast with two opposing taotie masks flanked by large bulging eyes against scrollwork and leiwen ground, between pair of bow-string borders, the interior of the foot cast with a six character inscription. Western Zhou Dynasty period or later.
Height: 10 1/8 in (25.5 cm) Length: 7 3/4 in (19.5 cm)
Provenance: From the Collection of Mr. K. Watanabe, Torrance, California, passed down through the family.
