Description

Hand colored engraving of Newfoundland dog. Beautifully done, this is titled "A Distinguished Member of the Humane Society" after Sir Edwin's original (exhibited in 1838) now in the Tate, London. Conservation framing in walnut, white matting, UV OP-3 Acrylic. Measures: 56.5 x 68.5 cm plate /63 x 42.5 frame.

Condition

An excellent antqiue impression. Very slight crease to paper, as shown.
