Art Deco red and white cork and red leather lined folding backgammon set in a portable wooden box. Circa 1930's 40's. Includes fifteen (15) round butterscotch egg yolk yellow and fifteen (15) cherry red marbled checker / tiles, five (5) playing dice and two (2) leather dice cups. The checkers measure 1 1/2" x 1/2". The board measures 27 1/2" x 18 3/4" when opened up. Closed ~ 18 3/4" x 13 3/4". No apparent markings.

Condition: Good to fair overall condition having normal surface wear. Tiles tested positive for bakelite. Case shows wear, losses, is missing the carry handle and one of the clasps does not work. Please bid accordingly. Estate fresh to the market.
