Four Chinese Export Porcelain Wares. 1770-90. Comprising a pair of famille rose soup plates, each painted with peonies and a pair of crabs; a famille rose charger painted with a floral sprays and sprigs, surrounded by a floral swag border; and a 'Mandarin Palette' tureen, painted on the sides and cover with peony blossoms. Charger: H: 1.375 in., Diam: 12.25 in. Tureen: H: 10.5 in., W: 14.25 in., D: 10 in. Provenance: Tureen, The Century House, 2 King Street, St. James, London; Property from the Collection of Cortlandt and Nancy Knowles Parker, Greenvale Farm Estate and Vineyard, Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
