Transfer-printed with a view of a woodcock hiding in grasses behind a nest of eggs, the rim glazed in brown and cobalt blue and molded with a border of palmettes within a pierced scalloped edge, the back in striking cobalt blue and green tortoiseshell glaze, impressed "WEDGWOOD" and "AAD."
