Faustina Gutierrez (1898-1976), Santa Clara Pueblo Blackware or Black-on-Black Vase. Carved around the sides in a curved stepped design, signed "Faustina/ Sta. Clara/ Pue" beneath. Together with a small bowl, Clara Suizo, surrounded by gouges under the rim, signed "Clara Suizo/ Santa Clara Pua" beneath the base. (2) Vase: H: 5.75 in., Diam: 4.75 in.
