Description
Arts & Crafts #332 Oak Reclining Morris Chair, Gustav Stickley, The Craftsman Workshops, Eastwood, New York, 1904-07. The curved rectangular back with five splats across the back, over straight arms and five vertical slats on each side, with the original leather back and seat cushions, red decal with joiner's compass mark, "Als ik kan" in center and signature "Gustav Stickley" below, inside the front left leg, the seat cushion stamped "332" in ink. H: 40 in., W: 31.75 in., D: 38.25 in. Provenance: Property from the Collection of Cortlandt and Nancy Knowles Parker, Greenvale Farm Estate and Vineyard, Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
