Pair of Carved and Paint-Decorated Figures of a Drake and Hen Mallard, Twentieth Century. Each realistically painted, the male carved with an upturned tail feather, each pegged onto a circular wood base carved in relief with webbed feet, unsigned. Drake: H: 5.25 in., W: 9.125 in., D: 3.125 in. Hen: H: 4.75 in., W: 8.25 in., D: 3 in. Provenance: Ted Rushford Antiques, Salem, Massachusetts.
