Six American Pewter Wares, New England, New York and Pennsylvania, 1760-40. Comprising a plate, John Skinner, Boston, Massachusetts, 1760-90, worn lion in gateway over "SKINNER" touchmark and four pseudo hallmarks; a plate, William Danforth, Middletown, Connecticut, 1792-1820, two worn touchmarks of an eagle, one with letter "D" visible; a charger, Thomas Danforth, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1807-13, touchmarks of "T.D" over an eagle and "T. DANFORTH/ PHILADA.;" a teapot, Ashbil Griswold, Meriden, Connecticut, 1802-42, partly worn eagle touchmark and "GRISWOLD;" a teapot, Daniel Curtiss, Albany, New York, 1822-40; a coffeepot, Allen Porter, Westbrook, Maine, 1830-40, of pear form, touchmark "A. PORTER" into a rectangle. Danforth charger: H: 1.5 in., Diam: 13.125 in. Curtiss teapot: H: 7.75 in. Porter coffeepot: H: 11.625 in., W: 5 in., D: 10.625 in.
