Anheuser Busch Brewing Association Advertising Sign, 1896. Lithograph on heavy paper, printed lower left "ENTERED ACCORDING TO ACT OF CONGRESS BY ADOLPHUS BUSCH MARCH 30TH 1896 IN THE OFFICE OF THE LIBRARIAN OF CONGRESS AT WASHINGTON. D.C.," depicting "CUSTER'S LAST FIGHT," with notable figures identified, and noting that the original painting was presented to the Seventh Regiment U.S. Cavalry by Anheuser-Busch; housed in a giltwood frame affixed with a plaque inscribed "ANHEUSER-BUSCH/ ST. LOUIS," (31.25 x 41.125 inches, sight). Frame: H: 38.25 in., W: 48 in., D: 1.75 in.
