In two parts; the broken arch pediment painted with a dish of fruit and box of biscuits, above a pair of recessed panelled doors painted to simulate two shelves filled with books, pictures, vases, pitchers, figures, inkwells, feathers and musical instruments, opening to two shelves, the lower section with a drawer painted with chess pieces and pantry boxes, over a pair of cupboard doors painted with musical instruments, an artist's palette, sheet music and a vase, opening to a single shelf, both sets of doors painted on the interior with pictures and trailing vinery, the upper section of one side painted with a candle on a shelf suspending a pair of scissors, above the lower painted with a crossed horn and rake, and the upper section on the other side with a putto holding a vase of flowers on a shelf suspending tassels, the lower section with garlic hanging over a teapot, raised on a bracket base, all within striped brown and cream borders.
