All the paint both inside and out is original, as is the wallpaper and velvet carpeting. The curtains and a few assorted pieces of furniture came with the house, my favorite being the tin and curtained shower in the upstairs dressing room. Some of the furniture I had as a child in my own doll house, which unfortunately burned in a fire almost 50 years ago. The rest of the furniture, china, and objets d'art have been collected over the years. The yellow blanket on the bed was made by my granddaughter when she was nine. The oil painting hanging in the bedroom was painted by my son. It's a view from my own bedroom window. Mary Louise Ryus.".
