Description
English Painted Wood "Royal Scot" Pull-Along Toy Locomotive and Tender, After 1927. In dark blue paint with red trim and wheels, stencilled on each side "ROYAL SCOT," "No 803" and "L.M.S." (London Midland and Scottish Railway). The Royal Scot was a named passenger express train that ran between London, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow Central on the West Coast Main Line, with a portion previously also going to Edinburgh. Its first service was July 11, 1927. H: 7.25 in., W: 22.5 in., D: 7.25 in.
